Welcome to Glynn A. Green Public School!

I am proud to be the new principal at Glynn A. Green, a school with a dynamic group of students, staff, parents and community. Our goals are based on the belief that all students can learn given sufficient time and support. Our staff is committed to providing the best learning environment for our students’ social, physical, emotional and academic needs. They commit their time and efforts not only in providing academic challenges but in offering a variety of athletic, artistic and dramatic activities.

Our staff continues to emphasize priorities in literacy and numeracy using student data to guide instruction. Character Education is promoted through monthly character traits that are highlighted, defined and encouraged. Students demonstrating these character traits are recognized at our monthly Student of the Month celebrations.

I look forward to working collaboratively with the School Parent Advisory Committee, the Learning Commons Enhancement project, the Brock University outdoor classroom project and the School Travel Planning committee in order to continue to promote change and enhance 21st century learning.

Communication between home and school is important for student success. We initiate this communication through school and classroom newsletters, student agendas, emails, texts, twitter, classroom websites, this school website, parent teacher interviews and meetings.   Please feel free to contact me or your child’s teacher with any questions or areas of concern as they arise throughout the year. My door is always open!
